A proper sound reduction can only be achieved with tight elements. Only the combination of the right window type, glazing, profile and installation method will provide you the desired noise reduction.

Glass

The glass plays an important role. Even though it’s the largest element of the window, it’s often overlooked. For a proper sound insulation, a minimum of 12mm laminated or higher is required.

Profile

The profile does not only help hold the glass in place but also seals the gap between glass and window opening. It’s therefore important to choose the proper sound insulating profile.
